BETTGEFLÜSTER

In den Arbeiten zum Thema BETTGEFLÜSTER geht es um den Kontrast zwischen weichen, sinnlichen Formen, die man mit dem Polster assoziiert und der starren Struktur der künstlerischen Umsetzung des Themas. Das Besondere an den Objekten ist die massige und massive Form, deren Oberfläche aber mit zarten feinen Linien zeichnerisch überzogen ist.

PILLOWTALK

The works on the subject of PILLOWTALK are about the contrast between the soft, sensuous forms associated with the upholstery and the rigid structure of the artistic realization of the subject. What is special about the objects is their bulky and solid form, whose surface is covered with delicate, fine lines.

 VARIATION ÉLASTIQUE

Die Arbeiten zum Thema „variation élastique“ zeigen Anordnungen bunter Rundschnüre im Raum, zu Casaden gefädelt oder zu Kugeln gewickelt, die einen Dialog zwischen Ordnung und Chaos sowie zwischen visuellen und haptischen Reizen führen.

The works on the subject of "variation élastique" show arrangements of colorful round cords in space, threaded to form casades or wrapped into balls, leading to a dialogue between order and chaos as well as between visual and haptic stimuli.

 GELB

Die Werkgruppe „…DAS SIND KEINE SESSEL“ zeigt zwei Objekte, die auf den ersten Blick wie ein sehr großer Sessel (für Erwachsene) und ein kleiner Sessel (für Kinder) aussehen. Auf den zweiten Blick erkennt man aber, dass die Sitzfläche fehlt. Der Titel der Arbeit bezieht sich Rene Magrittes Bild „Das ist keine Pfeife“. Denn es ist nur das Bild einer Pfeife und keine reale Pfeife. Genau so kann man auf der Konstruktion aus Vierkant-Stahl und gelbem Lack nicht sitzen.

YELLOW

The group of works “…THESE AREN´T ARMCHAIRS” shows two objects that at first glance look like a very large armchair (for adults) and a small armchair (for children). At second glance, however, you can see that the seat is missing. The title of the work refers to Rene Magritte's picture "This is not a pipe". Because it is just the picture of a whistle and not a real whistle. You can't sit like that on the construction made of square steel and yellow paint.

Die Fotografie ist bei Judith P. Fischer vor allem als Erweiterung des Begriffs der Skulptur zu verstehen. Zeichnet sich doch die zeitgenössische Skulptur gerade durch Grenzüberschreitungen hinsichtlich der Wahl des Materials und letztlich auch der Medien aus.
